We are currently looking for a bag machine operator available to work either way in the evening (15h à 23h) or at night (23h à 7ham).

Responsibilities:

  • Operate bag-making machines and supply equipment with the appropriate materials
  • Set up machinery according to the requirements of each production order
  • Measure sample products to ensure bags meet order specifications
  • Verify the quality and compliance of finished products at every stage of production
  • Detect defects in bags, identify root causes, and resolve issues
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and basic repairs on equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment in case of malfunctions
  • Complete production and quality reports
  • Inspect and verify the quality of produced materials
  • Relay relevant information about ongoing production to the next team
  • Explain completed tasks and key instructions to the next machine operator
  • Perform any other related tasks as required by operations


Required profile:

     
  • Professional Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physical strength (able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs)
  • Basic math skills
  • Spoken and written proficiency in French or English

  • Reliable, diligent, motivated, and hard-working
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Team spirit

  • Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Manual dexterity required
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Alternating between sitting, standing, and walking depending on the task
