We recently held a fundraiser for Relay for Life, an event dedicated to supporting the Canadian Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Thanks to the remarkable contributions from our clients and partners, we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $1,000 within just one hour on May 24. 

The Event 

Relay for Life is a global movement that unites communities to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and take action to ensure no one faces cancer alone. This cause is very close to our hearts since cancer has affected some of our employees and family members. Our involvement in this initiative underscores our commitment to making a positive impact in our community and standing beside our loved ones who have battled, who are currently battling or who have been taken away by cancer.  

The fundraiser was held on a sunny afternoon at our office, where we served up fresh homemade pizza, pasta and dumplings made by our coworkers. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous donations of Stefano Faita. We can’t thank him enough for his contributions and the turn out wouldn’t have been the same without his help.  

The Response 

The response from our clients and partners was nothing short of phenomenal. Within the first hour, their generosity surpassed our expectations. This incredible support is a testament to the strong relationships we have built over the years and the shared commitment to supporting important causes. 

The Impact 

Raising over $1,000 in such a short period is a significant achievement. These funds will directly contribute to the Canadian Cancer Society’s programs, including groundbreaking research, patient support services, prevention and education initiatives, and advocacy efforts. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a future without cancer.
